Staff will be able (and expected) to put policy decisions, promotions, etc, on the mailing list for discussion (for certain things, it may be better to use a distribution/cc: list for senior staff only). All such policies will have an expiration date. Not less than one day (if we're in a hurry about it), and not to exceed 7 days (one week).
tabris, as head of staff, will likely have commentary on it, and final veto. Allowances will be made for when there is no time to implement it, but tabris' veto will remain (as will time for votes from the rest of staff).
This policy is intended to eliminate deadlock, from a lack (or excess) of commentary/decisions, NOT to reduce nor increase the powers of any individual staff member.
