- Founder - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> FOUNDER <nick>
- Changes the founder of a channel to another person.
- Can only be performed by the current founder of the channel or a Services Root.
- Changes previous founder to CoFounder level.
- If setting founder to same as current Successor, the successor entry is removed automatically.
- Successor - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> SUCCESSOR <nick>
- Changes the Successor of a channel.
- Successor cannot be the same as the founder.
- There is no rank for Successor, so they may be anything from no-rank to CoFounder.
- UnSuccessor - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> UNSUCCESSOR
- removes the current channel successor.
- Description - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> DESC <description here>
- Changes the channel description.
- Maximum Description length is 350 chars, including any control/colour codes.
- Mode-Lock - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> MLOCK <modes> [params]
- Allows you to lock specified channel modes on or off.
- If you set a mode-locked key, make sure to set the channel restricted, or someone may enter when nobody else is there and see your channel-key.
- The <modes> paremeter is structured in the exact way of a /MODE command; modes followed by a + are locked on, modes followed by a - are locked off.
- Examples:
SET #channel MLOCK +knst-ilmp my-key Forces modes k, n, s, t on and i, l, m, p off. Also forces channel key to be "my-key".
SET #channel MLOCK +nt-iklps Forces modes n and t on, and i, k, l, p, s off. Mode m is left free to be either on or off.
SET #channel MLOCK + Removes the modelock; all channel modes are free to be either on or off.>

- OpGuard - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> OPGUARD <ON|OFF>
- Enables or disables checking of access levels before allowing a user to have Op status in the channel.
- You will still need to set LEVELS for VOICE, HALFOP, OP, and PROTECT for this setting to have a proper effect.
- TopicLock - /msg ChanServ SET <channel> TOPICLOCK <UOP/VOP/HOP/AOP/SOP/CF>
- This is basically an alias for LEVELS SET TopicLock <UOP/VOP/HOP/AOP/SOP/CF>
- Restricts topic changing to the appropriate access level. if a user changes the topic and is not authorized, services will change it back.
- SplitOps - /msg Chanserv SET <channel> SPLITOPS <ON/OFF>
- Allows users that gain ops from initial join or a netsplit to keep their ops. This can avoid mass-deops in a channel where not everyone is identified to NickServ.
- May make channel takeovers easier.
- Verbose - /msg Chanserv SET <channel> VERBOSE <ON/OFF>
- Enables various channel notices for ChanServ and BotServ commands.
OPER-ONLY flags:
- Hold - /msg Chanserv SET <channel> HOLD <ON|OFF>
- Sets whether the given channel will expire.
- Setting this to ON prevents the channel from expiring.
- Freeze - /msg Chanserv SET <channel> FREEZE
- Suspend access in the given channel.
- Botstay - /msg Chanserv SET <channel> BOTSTAY
- Make the bot stay in the channel when empty.
